Glasgow Botanic is a massive and beautiful botanical garden located in west end of Glasgow. The botanic was founded in 1817 by Thomas Hopkirk a distinguished botanist . It has multiple glass houses one of them is the famous kibble palace. The Kibble Palace holds a huge number of significant plant collections including : The National Collection of Begonias, The National Collection of Tree Ferns, The National Collection of Dendrobium Orchids, An Extensive Collection of Economic and Medicinal Plants , The Substantial collection of trees opened the door to membership of The National Tree Collections of Scotland.


The Gardens are open from 7 am to dusk all year, and the glasshouses open 10am – 6pm (4pm winter).Entry is free for all areas in the botanic and the kibble palace
